Brunch? Perhaps a little outdoor adventure? How about a day at the spa?

Look no further. We have several fun and easy ideas sure to win their hearts. Best of all, they require little effort—nothing grand needed from home or storage—just yourselves.

Pampering at the Sycamore Mineral Springs Resort & Spa

What woman could resist a day of wellness and pure relaxation? Especially one tucked away in the lush Avila hills.

The award-winning Spa at Sycamore has a few goodies up its sleeve that will leave your fabulous ladies feeling refreshed and rejuvenated.

All treatments begin with a private 30-minute soak in the serene mineral springs to help unwind, followed by a 60-minute massage or facial. Their day of pampering includes being lavished with mimosa mocktails, delectable sweets, and a complimentary foot scrub.

Be sure to make reservations early since spots fill quickly. Contact the spa at (805) 595-7302 or spa@smsr.com for more information.

Oceanside Brunch at the Dolphin Bay Resort

Lido Restaurant & Lounge at the Dolphin Bay Resort in Pismo Beach offers a seaside brunch for Mother’s Day overlooking exquisite gardens and the shimmering ocean.

Mother’s Day Brunch costs $75 per person and includes a three-course prix fixe menu and one 'MOMosa' while dining either on the patio or in the dining room.

Appetizers include decadent shrimp and crab fritters. Entrees include blackened salmon, braised short ribs, or traditional Eggs Benedict. For a sweet ending to your meal, consider the strawberry shortcake bread pudding, chocolate torte, or vanilla crème brûlée.
