Top 10 Wineries Near Arroyo Grande

There are no wineries within the Arroyo Grande city limits, but that’s all right! If you live here, or are visiting, you know that we’re in the heart of California's Central Coast wine region. You don’t have to go far to enjoy many fine vintages. The region has small, family-run operations to larger, well-established vineyards. So, on a weekend day, we suggest visiting several of these wineries for your own personal wine tour.


Edna Valley Vineyard: Just a few miles from Arroyo Grande is, Edna Valley Vineyard. Known for its award-winning Chardonnay and Pinot Noir wines, this winery has a tasting room that offers a relaxed atmosphere and beautiful views of the surrounding valley.

Talley Vineyards: Talley Vineyards is family-owned and operated winery, and has been producing high-quality wines for over 35 years. Vintages include Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, Syrah, and many others.

Kynsi Winery: Here’s another family-owned winery that makes a variety of wine types. Kynsi Winery specializes in Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, and a variety of small-batch releases. Visit their tasting room, located in a restored schoolhouse, for a cozy wine-tasting visit.

Laetitia Vineyard and Winery: A large, well-established business, Laetitia Vineyard and Winery is known for its sparkling wines, Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, and other varietals, and the tasting room offers beautiful views of the surrounding vineyards.

Wolff Vineyards: Wolff Vineyards is a family-owned winery specializing in Rhône-style wines, including Syrah, Grenache, and Viognier. Come spend an hour here, enjoying the lovely tasting room or having a picnic, and pick up a few bottles of wine.

Chamisal Vineyards: Chamisal Vineyards has been producing wine from its orchards since the 1970s. Today, the business a many excellent wines, including Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, and Syrah.

Sextant Wines: Another wonderful place you can taste, and purchase, many types of wine is Sextant Wines. Here, they produce Zinfandel, Cabernet Sauvignon, Chardonnay, and others. Check out the tasting room for beautiful views of the surrounding vineyards and a combortable atmosphere for wine tasting.

Baileyana Winery: If you enjoy cool-climate varietals, including Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, and Syrah, Baileyana Winery is a wonderful place to visit. Sip in their tasting room, a restored historic building with a friendly atmosphere.

Talley Vineyards Estate Winery: With varietals of Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, and Syrah, Talley Vineyards Estate Winery is a beautiful place to enjoy sipping on wine. The  Talley family has been farming in the area for over 70 years, and producing wine for the last 35.

Center of Effort Wines: This boutique winery offers gorgeous views, as it overlooks the Edna Valley. Center of Effort Wines produces a range of excellent wines, including Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, and Syrah, and offers a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere for wine tasting.
